Tiger Takeoff

Tiger Takeoff is an educational recruitment conference for rising seniors (high- school class of 2024) from Alabama. This conference is open to all students but focuses on students from underrepresented populations that self-identify as members of underrepresented populations, such as American Indians, African Americans, Hispanic/Latinos, and Asian Americans, as well as prospective first-generation college students and individuals from other underrepresented backgrounds. The 2023 experience will be hosted at Auburn University's main campus from Thursday, July 20^th to Saturday, July 22^nd, 2023.  

This immersive residential experience will expose prospective students from Alabama to leadership activities, academic offerings, campus resources, faculty, staff, and student leaders. Attendees will also be paired with group leaders who are current Auburn students. These group leaders will support attendees during the summer experience and will remain connected with them through the college admission process and throughout their freshman year. Families will also be invited to learn more about Auburn University during this conference.

This experience is free to attend with all meals, lodging, and materials provided for participants. Please note that application submission does not guarantee selection. Applications will be evaluated on a variety of metrics including quality and completeness of the application.
